Natural instinct….however, living in the Denver suburbs, the only reason I go downtown is for pro-sports or restaurants.

Has anyone noticed that when a white person is beaten by a black person, there are usually quite a few of the latter participating in the crime.
What is the reason here?

It is a ‘reversion’ to the laws of the jungle.

Speaking the truth is never a sin, and it’s time for the truth about race relations in America to be spoken.
I have a young son. We are raising him to be a Catholic first, a Texan second, and a person of European ancestry third. I would never dream of teaching him to hate anyone. Nor would his mother and I ever preach that white supremacy stuff to him. But I damned sure am going to tell him the truth about how whites and blacks get along in the real world before I send him out into that real world. He is going to learn the easy way what I had to learn the hard way: that outside of Christianity we can’t all just get along.

This is probably not a surprise to anyone but this going on all over the USWe live in central PA, truly the middle of nowhere, at least to my formerly Manhattanite thinking. Very rural, very white. But there is a downtown nearby and people are in white flight like somebody set off a chernobyl incident. Gangs, ethnic Asians and muslims and hispanics, are causing major havoc and the street drugs are gotten like shells on the beach. The old timers all have guns but they are still intimidated, and they see their property values declining fast, meanwhile the national economy is tanking…and their young are not sticking around to clean up.
Which is why I don’t see revolution happening. I’m in a redstate region full of old folks who remember what America meant, and they’re letting punks push them out like the Indians got pushed, only 1000x faster.

The only experience I’ve had along these lines occurred in Chicago, made a long weekend out of a business trip, and friends flew up. We went out on the town, had a great time, got a little blitzed. Driving a rental Lincoln, bumped a curb causing a tire to leak, stopped at a 24 hr. gas station to put air in, air hose was way at the back, in a dark corner. Pulled up, started putting air in the tire, laughing and joking, then out of nowhere the car was surrounded. Late teens, all black, purporting to want to wash the windshield, at 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning.
Don’t know where it came from, but I put on my worst southern twang and said “I don’t give a $*** it’s a rental.” Don’t know if thugs can be taken aback, but they appeared to have been, initially. They recovered from the shock or whatever, and then I had to repeat this several times, with the ten or so moving closer each time.
A friend, the drunkest of us all, managed to get in behind them, grabbed the air hose and started whipping it around over his head and popped a couple of them with it. That created enough of a distraction to get everybody in the car, throw it in reverse and get out of there. And, that was that. I imagine they still laugh about it up there, if any of them are still alive and kicking to laugh about it.
One of those friends liked it enough up there that he took a job in Chicago. He was attacked several years ago and has a steel plate in his skull now. Just went outside to get something out of his car, parked on the street while at a friend’s house, and wham! Didn’t even see it coming, couldn’t possibly ID his attacker(s), other than young, black, wearing a hooded jacket.
So, this has been going on for a long time. My experience was in the early 90’s.

But down the block from us is a notorious Section 8 ( = almost entirely black) apartment building, and it has recently become a source of crime in our neighborhood. The house two doors down from ours was burgled about a month ago. About two weeks ago, our good friends around the corner got hit. Same M.O. in both cases: the parasites comes in daytime when decent people are at work, kick down the back door, rifle the house, and split. I know these are kids because they take video equipment, shiny things, and personal electronics and do not bother to look for fencible or pawnable items, or the victim’s drugs and weapons, as a professional thief would. The cops found a trail of athletic shoe prints leading from our friends’ back door to the apartment complex. To date no suspects have been IDd or arrested, nor has any of the stolen property been recovered.I’m a professional writer, so I’m at home working during the day. The day after our friends were robbed, I cleaned and oiled Mr. Mossberg and moved him to an easily accessible location (I keep him put away when Baby Chan is at home). Should the Section 8 Gang choose my home as their next target, I’m prepared to take their lives if necessary in defense of my life and the lives of my family members.
Most of the employees of our family business are black. Among them is one guy, a longtime employee and family friend, who does cabinetmaking as a side job. About two years ago, this man was in my home building bookshelves when he spied a black teenager ride by our house on a bike. Our friend downed tools, went out the front door, and watched as the kid rode away. He then turned to me and said, “Black people got no business in this neighborhood. That kid is looking for a place to rob.” “He’s probably just going to the store or something,” I replied. He looked at me like I was crazy. “No he ain’t. If you see a black kid that age in this neighborhood, he goin’ to rob or kill somebody. Call the cops.” At the time, I thought he was going a little bit overboard. I no longer think that.

A while ago I got attacked by a gang of about 7 thugs like this.
Fortunately, I was right out of the military, so I was in the best shape of my life.
I was just minding my own business, and all these guys started slugging me. I was next to a busy street so I began trying to throw these guys in front of the moving cars to take out a few.
I wish I could say I killed a few, or even beat up a few. But at least I was lucky to fight them off as I retreated to a nearby gas station. Once I got there, in the light, they all retreated. A couple minutes later a cop came by to give me a ride home.
I’ve got to say, that experience gave me a sick feeling fear in my stomach that’s probably still part of me.

This sort of gangster thuggery has plagued the black community for a very long time, and in much greater depth than it has on the rest of the culture. You don’t hear about the atrocities that occur in “the hood” too often, but there’s a near epidemic of violence occurring there.
Must be some sort of innate jungle tribal instinct just too difficult for their race to overcome.

To be fair, at this point a few guys call out whatisthetruth for being so bad, including someone who fought with many blacks in Vietnam. They are ignored.

I appreciate the fact that you get caught in the middle, as do all respectable black Americans, where you often get regarded as if you might be one of the thugs just because you share the skin color, but before you condemn white people for being overly suspicious, you have to remember that white people also get it from both sides – white people get assaulted by black people, but they’re not allowed to be afraid or suspicious of black people, and if white people want to help the black community, they get called racist for pointing out any problems.
The PC in this country is so ridiculous that employers are afraid to fire a black man who habitually sleeps on the job (this actually happened in a place I worked). If a black man punches a white guy, it was because of oppression. If a white guy punches a black guy, it’s a hate crime with special enhancements and media character assassination. All of the racial meddling and engineering by the government has made the problem far worse.
I’ve known a lot of black people over the years, and with some, I’ve tried to make the conservative points to them, and make them understand that Uncle Sucker will only make things worse, not better, but no matter what facts I bring or what logic I use, I generally get dismissed outright, because, as a white man, I couldn’t possibly understand. Nothing I say means anything to them solely because of my race. Yet, at the same time, I, and every other white person, are held responsible for every problem the black community has. Blacks kill whites and its whitey’s fault. Blacks kill blacks and it’s whitey’s fault. If whites try to correct the situation, it’s racism.
Quite the predicament we’re all in, eh?

There is a difference between honestly addressing race relations and just declaring Blacks as tribal animals that destroy everything they touch, but B-Chan doesn’t recognize that difference.
I appreciate that you’re offended. This subject is intrinsically offensive. But if we don’t honestly address the offensive realities of race relations in America verbally, we in this nation will eventually be forced to address them physically.
That being said, I wonder if you could address the point under contention: namely, that some sort of “tribal instinct” lies at the root of the problems blacks have in every part of the world. There must be some reason that Detroit, East St. Louis, and Africa are hellholes, after all. Would you care to speculate on that reason, or do we have to stop talking about this now because you’ve become offended?

But I did grow up in “the black community”: a junior enlisted housing area of Fort Bragg, North Carolina, during the mid-1970s. We were, for most of the time we lived there, the only white people in the neighborhood. And believe me that there was plenty of “tribal instinct” among our black neighbors. We discovered very quickly and in no uncertain terms that we were not “of the tribe”.
My question is based upon the fact that, generally speaking, the quality of life in any given locality varies inversely with the percentage its residents whom are of non-Arab African or African-diaspora origin. This inverse relationship exists at all levels of government, from communities to continents, and exists independent of economic circumstances: compare Vermont to Mississippi, Minnesota to Maryland, Detroit to Omaha, Jamaica to Singapore, South Africa under apartheid to South Africa today. Where whites or Asians are in the majority, or where members of these groups control the government, the society is more-or-less safe, civic, and orderly. Where there are large black populations, or where blacks are in charge of civil government, there is crime, tribalism, chaos. There must be some reason for this.
I think there is, and I think the reason is “tribal instinct” — or, to use a more accurate phrase, culture. I think black culture is broken — not just here in the States, but in Africa. I think the only way things are going to improve for black people around the world is for them to essentially stop “being black” — stop identifying themselves with black culture, values, and identity — and adopt “white” (i.e. European-American, Judeo-Christian) culture, values, and identity.
I’m sorry if this offends you, but I have to be honest: I don’t think the racial situation in the U.S. is salvageable. I don’t think we can all “just get along”. I think that the cultural differences are just too great overall. I think it’s going to come down to the re-segregation of society, by a voluntary process if we’re lucky. Otherwise, it’s a Camp of the Saints scenario — and God help us all if it ever comes to that.

I wasn’t living in Harlem in the 1920’s but I was living in Chicago in the 50’s and remember all too well that whites didn’t take no crap from blacks, like they do today. I’m sure the same held true in 1920 New York.
Whites leave blacks to their own devices and all hell always break loose, Detroit, East St. Louis, Gary, Ind etc etc. As for hurling invectives at another Freeper, I have no idea what you’re talking about. And AGAIN there’s nothing inappropriate for me bringing up the idea of an inherent tribal instinct that may be part of the reason for out of control spiraling violence among blacks.
If that’s offends you, well tell that to all the 32 or so whites in Denver that got the crap beat out of them by packs of blacks for no reason.

I was being facetious and had not read all your posts here most of which are indeed very well said and sincere and I do realize it’s easy for me as a white southerner to be conservative but not so for you…I really do get that and it’s not fair. I hate that.I am more than willing to discuss anything you’d like about the black community (or the white treatment of)very candidly because unlike most white folks here I have been either immersed in it or lived in close proximity to it for half a century.
And I have seen it collapse basically and take/accompany lower income white and latino urban culture down with it to the point where they are now almost indistinguishable except by skin color and they are working on that too.
This is not just an American issue but a worldwide issue for black culture baring one or two small exceptions and the roots go back far beyond what most folks are comfortable discussing today. Some cultures advance and some lag and some are in between and there are variances to that mean within each but the mean still is what it is and it’s unreasonable to expect everyone to be the same culturally in short order when these differences based on so much environmental differences for tens of thousands of years have taken place. You can make this observation about any race or ethnic group and even to some degree religious affiliations and whatnot. Geographic isolation as one had in sub Saharan Africa and in the Americas has created for both of the indigenous groups there growing pains and this is an outgrowth of that which we all have to deal with but this new touchy feely make excuses and enabling failure progressivism is only retarding cultural acclimation in the modern world. Blacks for example were in better shape culturally in the now scorned years from 1866-1964 than they are now with all this excuse making and being treated like underprivileged pets by guilty whites.
And progressive politics and the deconstruction of the what we used to call western civilization the past 40 years has enabled it.
But I am not one of these white folks who thinks all that has happened negative in the black community is the fault of external forces. Blacks have free will same as anyone else and when I grew up most exercised it well and our cities were safe and so on…at least in the south.
