BloominHappy2009 – Attack of the Etsy!

One fun thing I like to do is browse Etsy for weirdo stuff. And though there are whole sites dedicated to mining the worst of Etsy, I instead will be focusing on stuff I think is pretty cool, even though it will probably be weird. So to start out, here is some cool weird stuff from an Etsy seller named BloominHappy2009:

He comes with the message “Go Against the Flow” around his neck but you can change that. You may want this as a housewarming gift, a college dorm gift, to say thank you, or maybe a get well gift. I can personalize it to say what you want.

Air plant nestled in fabulous little fish. Get well gift or girly office decor. As soon as I saw her lips I just knew that this funny little fish would be a perfect display for an air plant. Very brightly colored and measures 3.5″ long x 2″ tall and the plant is 2-3″ tall. This plant is named Ionantha Rubra and will blush red just before blooming with spikes of purple as seen in last photo.

Lady GaGa inspired Dinosaur planter. Fun birthday gift. This adorable dinosaur planter is a re-purposed dinosaur toy complete with faux fur stole, tiny handbag (may be a different color) and bright pink mohican hair-do. She has been primed and hand painted by me in 3 coats of turquoise and sealed for protection. She measures 8″ long x 6″ tall. Fun gift for a special friend.

Bisque pig doll with air plant

SALE. Vintage planter. Bisque pig doll with air plant. Unique gift for collector of plants or pigs. I found this very unusual planter at an estate sale and loved the idea of how it would look as an air plant display.

The pig has moving arms and legs and is in very good condition for something that is so old. There is a small chip on the back of the neck which I have shown in the last photo. She comes complete with large eyelashes and measures 11.5″ long by 6″ wide.
