SciFi Channel March Monster Madness
SciFi Channel (still refuse to use the term SyFy) is finally doing something interesting on their website. Their having their own March Madness with monsters from their Creature Feature films! 32 of the baddest monsters of them all are battling it out for the championship, and YOU can vote for the winners of each round! The best part is they went and made up stats cards for each of the monsters, and the cards are awesome. It is a shame they aren’t real cards. But enough of the dreaming. Did your favorite monster make the list? Despite appearing in three separate movies, no komodos made the list, nor did any raptors, robots, cobras, zombies, or werewolves. Just good old fashioned giant monsters, the type mom used to make! The cards are all archived here for those of you who don’t want to fiddle through the awkward flash user interface, and because I’m sure they will all disappear once the contest is over and these are too cool to have disappear into the internet ether. Dinoshark airs Saturday
Those of you with cable will get to see Dinoshark on Saturday on the channel that should still be named SciFi Channel. Those of you without are doomed to wait until someone gives you a copy. So watch these preview clips or something. You could be doing worse things with your time. And hopefully Foywonder will give us a cool review quickly.Thanks to Avery

Malaysian super heroes are all the rage thanks to Cicak Man! Now we got Kapoww!
True to the old school Superheroes you grew-up watching, comes ‘Kapoww!!!’ a new comedy by writer/director Azizi Chunk Adnan. Follow Atoi, kampong boy turned super hero, when he is literally struck by lightning. With the help of some popular drink, watch Atoi’s super powers come alive as he runs at the speed of sound and fires a bolt of lightning with his bare hands. Overcome by his latest discovery, Atoi moves to KL to join the elite group of super heroes known as, ‘Kapoww’.
Fighting the bad guys, and saving old lady from thief snatcher however proved to be too easy. The real challenge comes when Atoi is lauded with the glory of fame and fortune. And in the midst of this crisis with himself, comes the ultimate villain, Alakazambo. Will Atoi overcome the challenges to win the day? Or will he succumb to his losing ways?

Dinoshark
Dinoshark has finished filming in Mexico and is in post-production. It is directed by Dan Golden for Roger Corman. They reused the mechanical jaws used in Dinocroc, but that’s about all the information we have now. So stay tuned for dinosaur shark goodness that will hopefully be good and not terrible, because that would make me sad inside. I get sad inside a lot from some of these awful movies.
