Zombie Ass Trailer

Noboru Iguchi’s Zombie Ass: Toilet of the Dead premiered at Fantastic Fest (review here), but here is a trailer for the rest of us!

The plot again:
We are going to flush you! The most crap-tastic zombie movie ever to emerge from the sewers of low-budget filmmaking is finally upon us, and it’s from the perverted mind of cinematic madman and legendary ass-fetishist Noboru Iguchi, creator of THE MACHINE GIRL, ROBO-GEISHA and KARATE-ROBO ZABORGAR! Given free reign by a generous, independent producer to plumb the depths of his toilet-obsessed imagination, Iguchi has created a splatter comedy guaranteed to warm the bowels of those with the stomach for it. Wracked with guilt over the suicide of her sister Ai, who was tormented by high school bullies, pretty young karate student Megu accompanies a group of older friends on a camping trip into the woods: smart girl Aya, her druggie boyfriend Také, big-boobed model Maki, and nerdy Naoi. Things start to go badly when Maki finds a parasitical worm inside a fish they catch – and wolfs it down alive, in the hope that it’ll help keep her skinny! Soon after, and not so unexpectedly in situations like this, zombies show up and begin to complicate things further. After they’re attached by a crowd of poop-covered undead who emerge from an outhouse toilet, the group seeks refuge at the home of strange Dr. Tanaka and his daughter Sachi. But unbeknownst to them, Tanaka has been conducting experiments on the parasites—and the zombies!—and has another fate in mind for the five strangers from the city. What’s the connection between the parasites and the zombies? And can Megu’s karate alone help them escape, or will she have to rely on the liberating power of farts to save the day? Featuring special effects by FF 2009-2010 guest Yoshihiro Nishimura, and some truly jaw-dropping contributions from Iguchi’s genius subconscious (parasite anus-zombies?!?), ZOMBIE ASS is a heaping plate of bad taste that may go down rough but is guaranteed to come out smooth and regular.

Watch a trailer of something called “Zombie Ass” at work at your own discretion!

Zombie Ass – Toilet of the Dead

Zombie Ass is an actual movie coming out, from all places, Japan! Noboru Iguchi is the mad genius behind this title and film, which by all accounts will be yet another entry in his splatter gore genre that has made him a cult fan favorite around the globe. Zombie Ass will premier at Fantastic Fest 2011 in Austin.

I can’t read all the names on the posters, but Asami and Demo Tanaka are back, and it also stars Asana Mamori (Gravure Idol) and many more names that are too blurry to read and too close to nakedness to Google at work.

The synopsis from the Fantastic Fest website:

Tomie Unlimited trailer up

Here is a trailer for Tomie Unlimited, the newest of the Tomie films, this one from director Noboru Iguchi. As NipponCinema sez:
Former gravure idol Miu Nakamura plays Tomie, a seductive schoolgirl who causes men to fall in love with her and go completely insane with jealousy and possessiveness. She has been killed and dismembered several times in the past, but always regenerates from remaining body parts to begin the process all over again.

Moe Arai co-stars as a girl named Tsukiko whose sister has seemingly returned from the dead. The new footage also shows a little bit of AKB48 member Aika Oota. Other listed cast members include Kensuke Owada, Koichi Obori, and Maiko Kawakami.

There is like a bajillion of these Tomie films, including:
Tommy Boy (1995)
Tomie (1999)
Tomie: Another Face (1999)
Tomie: replay (2000)
Tomie: Re-birth (2001)
Tomie: The Final Chapter -Forbidden Fruit- (2002)
Tomie: Beginning (2005)
Tomie: Revenge (2005)
Tomie vs Tomie (2007)

What I want to see is Tomie fight Eko Eko Azarak.

Mutant Girls Squad behind the scene clips

UPDATE: Read out full review of Mutant Girls Squad now!!!

Mutant Girls Squad is the three-director action/gore film that will make up for X-Men 3. The three directors are Yoshihiro Nishimura, Tak Sakaguchi, and Noboru Iguchi, who you have probably heard of if you like the Japanese gore wacky crazy films that have been coming out recently. Each one directs a segment, so we got three different behind the scenes videos for you that I ganked off of NipponCinema (as usual)

Clip #1 has Suzuka Morita as Yoshie getting direction from Noboru Iguchi and then gore time with Yoshihiro Nishimura. And tentacle arms.

Clip #2 features Yuko Takayama as Rei getting direction from all three directors. I guess at one point she has a bird-like mask that looks more like she’s wearing an artichoke on her head.

Clip #3 has Yumi Sugimoto as Rin, who has a mutated claw hand. I guess she could never use the Power Glove for the Nintendo. Poor Rin.

Pictures from Robo Geisha and Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl blogged all the time

Japanese director and special effects man Yoshihiro Nishimura (responsible for such fair as Tokyo Gore Police and the effects on Machine Girl) is regularly blogging pictures from his upcoming films Robo Geisha (directed by Machine Girl director Noboru Iguchi) and Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl, which Yoshihiro Nishimura will be directing. We had a short article about Robo Geisha, but Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl was out of the blue. Twitch has a gallery of pictures posted (mostly behind the scenes) or you can go to the blog where the giant photos are posted. If we find any more information about these two films, we will let you know.
